I know I'm probably a weirdo for this, but one day I got to thinking, what if Pokemon was lingually accurate? Like, if characters were named appropriately based on their region? So I actually went through Bulbapedia and compiled a list of every major character's names in other languages. And just in case anyone else was curious, I thought I'd share it.

I'm going from the English base, so I'm majorly not including Unova, Galar, and most of Alola. Ones that are weird or are migrants I give explanations for.

Kanto: Japanese

Red: Same in English and Japanese

Leaf: Same in English and Japanese

Blue: Technically referred to as Green in Japanese since the original games were Red and Green (hence remakes being FireRed and LeafGreen), but is considered Blue internationally and it makes more sense to me (Red picks Charmander, rival picks Squirtle to be better, thus Blue).

The difficulty here is in original Japanese (as well as French, logically) she speaks English, while most other localizations she speaks French. Fantina is her name in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Kiméra is her name in French.

Argenta or Kate: Kate is her name in Japanese and is clearly Western. Argenta is her name in English, German, and Spanish. Stage Madonna (Hall Matron)

Looker: Honestly, I just prefer Looker because it seems smoother to say as a codename than his Japanese codename which is Handsome. Looker also has the double meaning that Handsome doesn't, like he's looking/watching, because he's a detective. Looker is also his name in Portuguese, and sometimes in German, Spanish, and Italian. Every one of his codenames is a reference to his appearance ex. LeBelle in German and Beladonis in French.

Ginga-dan (Galaxy Expedition Team): Shares it's name with the modern Team Galaxy in Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, and Italian.

Kamado or Denboku: His original home region is unknown and he bears Galarian armor that looks strikingly similar to Kalosian Wikstrom. Denboku is from raidenboku, an alternate reading of the Japanese rowan, nanakamado, which is Rowan's Japanese name. Kamado also comes from nanakamado.

Shimaboshi (Cyllene): She is originally from Hoenn, but Hoenn is also Japanese so that means nothing for her name.

Perilla (Zisu) Keibi-tai (Security Corps)

Kine (Pesselle) Iryō-tai (Medical Corps)

Tao Hua: Same in English and Japanese Seizō-tai (Supply Corps)

Nabana (Colza): His original region is apparently unknown, but Japanese is still a safe bet. Also most other localizations stem from Nabana rather than Colza. Hatasaku-tai (Agriculture Corps)

Mube (Beni): His home region is apparently unknown, but Japanese is a safe bet. Imozuru-tei (The Wallflower): [directly from Bulbapedia] From imozuru (vines of Japanese mountain yam or sweet potato), Mitsuru (Wally), and tei (common suffix in restaurant names)

Sharon (Anthe): Oddly, Sharon is her Japanese name.

Cogito (Cogita): She is a whole ass mystery, but Cogita (her name in English and German) is just a (non-existent) feminine form of Cogito, her Japanese name, which comes from Latin and basically means "I think", as in Decaretes' "cogito, ergo sum" or "I think, therefore I am". French and Chinese use the respective language's variation of the phrase as a base for her name, while Spanish and Italian use Greek words, for "wisdom" and "intelligence" respectively.

Professor Laventon: He's Galarian, so his name is English.

Unova: English The only ones I'm doing here are ones that AREN'T necessarily the English version.

Clay or Yakon: I've heard Clay may play on Japanese businessman tropes, and he has an ancestor in Hisui, so his name could be either of these.

Lacey or Taro: As Clay's daughter, her situation is the same as his.

Cyrano or Mirtilo: English and Spanish names respectively. Lives in Unova, but as Clavel's classmate could be from Paldea maybe? Saffron or Milo: As above

Kalos: French

Kalem (Calem)

Serena: Same in English and French

Sannah (Shauna)

Trevor: Same in English and French

Tierno: Same in English and French

Professeur Platane (Professor Sycamore): Somewhat surprisingly, his Japanese and French names are the same, though they do both originate from the French word platane.

Alola: English Hawaii is an American state, and there isn't a Native Hawaiian translation of the games, so English is the default language here. But Hawaii does have ties to the East, so I will use some of the Japanese names if they make more sense to me. Most are just slight spelling changes anyhow.

Yo (Elio): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.

Mizuki (Selene): Moved from Kanto to Alola, so Japanese name.

Ma'o (Mallow): Technically her Japanese name is just Mao, but ma'o is the Hawaiian word for Hawaiian cotton and I feel spelling it that way feels better.

Sophocles or Māmane: Both names after the same plant, the Sophora chrysophylla, it's common and local Hawaiian name being māmane.

Hapu'u (Hapu): Hapu'u is her name in Japanese and comes from hāpuʻu, the Hawaaian tree fern.

Molayne or Mullein: Molayne is just a different spelling tbh and I kinda think it looks better.

Skipping Galar; there aren't really a lot of clear foreigners besides Kabu whose name is the same.

Paldea: Spanish and Portuguese I look at both languages because Paldea is based on the Iberian Peninsula and not just Spain. However, with Portuguese, I'm having to look at Brazilian Portuguese, which is not quite the same as European Portuguese, because that's almost all that's on Bulbapedia. I generally choose whether to use Spanish or Portuguese based on if said name is also the same as the English and/or Japanese name. Or default if only one is available. Also uhh my order might be a bit weird here because I didn't get to actually play these games. I kinda assumed you go through the teachers before Gym Leaders, so...yeah. I can re-order it later if that's wrong or confusing.

Florian: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Juliana: From an unknown region, but the same in English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian.

Nemo(?): She is noted to not be from Paldea but her home isn't specified so it could be anything. Nemona is her name in English and E. Portuguese, Nemo in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Thai, Noêmia in B. Portuguese, Nemila in German, Nemola in Indonesian, and Nemi in Italian. The odd ones out are Mencía in Spanish and Menzi in French.

Arven: Same in English and B. Portuguese

Academia Naranja (Naranja Academy)

Academia Uva (Uva Academy)

Miriam: Same in English and B. Portuguese

Saguaro: Same in English, Japanese, and B. Portuguese (as well as German and French)

Dendra: Same in English and B. Portuguese

Cloe or Mora (Raifort): Cloe is her name in Spanish, and Mora is her name in French, which I only include because her English/Japanese name Raifort is from the French word for horseradish apparently, so maybe she's Kalosian.

Silvio (Salvatore)

Mila (Tyme)

Jacques (Jacq): The B. Portuguese name as it's closer to his English name. His Spanish name is Cinio, which is Spanish for his Japanese name, Zinnia, which could be confusing considering Higana.

Clavel: Same in Japanese, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. English and B. Portuguese just adds another L. Clive: Same in English and B. Portuguese Director Escolar (Director)

Catarina (Katy): Her B. Portuguese name, which is closer to her name in English (Katy) and Japanese (Kaede).

Brais or Brás (Brassius): His Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively, as both are very close to his English name.

Kissera (Iono): Her B. Portuguese name, comes from "O que será?" apparently meaning "what will it be?", which is closer to the intent behind her name in Japanese (Nanjyamo, name given to an unusually large tree that grows in a particular place; literally meaning "What is it?") and English (Iono, as in "I don't know") than her Spanish name, e-Nigma. Which makes me think of the Riddler.

Fuco (Kufo)

Laureano or Lauro (Larry): His Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Larry could be a nickname for either though.

Lima or Citrina (Ryme): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Lima has the same puns on lime and rhyme that English and Japanese does, but tbh makes me think more of lima beans. Citrina is from citrino (citrus).

Tuli or Tulipa (Tulip): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively.

Grusha: Actually may be from an unrevealed Russian region as his name is Russian. It's also the same in most languages.

Cayena or Kaya (Rika): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Both come from cayenne, which isn't in her Japanese or English names. Her Japanese name is Chili, and Rika comes from paprika.

Poppy: Her name in English, Japanese, and B. Portuguese as well as German and Indonesian.

Hassel?: From and unknown region so could literally be anything, and all his names are very different.

Ságita or Guita (Geeta): Her Spanish and B. Portuguese names respectively. Supercampeona (Top Champion)

Team Star: Same in English and Spanish as well as German, French, and Italian

Penny: Actually from Galar, so her English name. Cassiopeia or Casiopea: English and Spanish forms respectively, referencing the constellation.

Giacomo: Same in English and B. Portuguese DJ Vil (DJ Vice)

Melo or Mélia (Mela): Spanish and B. Portuguese respectively.

Henzo (Atticus): Spanish name. Not like English or Japanese name, but his whole ninja theming makes Henzo fit better than the B. Portuguese Érico.

Ortega: Same in English and B. Portuguese, similar to Japanese, French, and Korean Ortiga.

Erin or Êri (Eri): Spanish and B. Portuguese respectively.

Profesor Sada: Same in English and EUROPEAN Portuguese, listed for once.

Profesor Turo: Same in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Kitakami: Japanese Not a region itself I don't think, but it's not connected to a specific region I don't think, so.

Farewell to You, ch 7

Ranee shot Paul a look. "Never say that again!"

She took out a pokeball and out came her Infernape. Paul threw a pokeball and out came Froslass. Dawn let go of Piplup. Kenny threw a pokeball and out came his Breloom. Barry took out a pokeball and out came his Emploeon. Bianca threw a pokeball and out came Zebstrika. Zoey took out a pokeball and her Glameow appeared. Todd threw a pokeball and out came an Alolan Ninetales, an oddly colored one.

Zoey did a double take, "You have an oddly colored Alolan Ninetales?!"

Todd blinked, "Yeah? Is that a bad thing...? Her nickname is Kori."

Zoey breathed, "She's beautiful."

Before Todd could compliment her again, he saw a floating stone going near her and Glameow.

He reacted, "Kori, Dazzling Gleam!"

The Alolan Ninetales did as it was told and the floating stone was destroyed in a beautiful rainbow light.

Zoey turned to him, with a light blush on her face, "Thanks."

Todd said modestly, "Thanks."

Articuno was fighting the floating stones as well, using its Ice Beam and Blizzard. Paul turned to his Froslass.

He commanded, "Shadow Ball!"

The Ice/Ghost type obeyed, using the hail to its advantage. It went faster and destroyed more of the floating stones.

Ranee asked, "Is that why you are using Froslass?"

Paul answered, "Well, yeah, why wouldn't I?"

Ranee blinked, "Huh. Pretty smart." To that, Paul just blushed. Ranee commanded, "Infernape, Mach Punch!"

Infernape did as it was told, taking out more floating stones.

Barry commanded, "Metal Claw, Emploeon!"

Emploeon's claws glowed white as it also took out more floating stones.

Bianca commanded, "Discharge, Zebstrika!"

Zebstrika did as it was told and shocked more floating stones.

Dawn commanded, "Piplup, Whirlpool!"

Piplup gathered its energy, summoning a giant whirlpool.

Kenny commanded, "Energy Ball, Breloom!"

Breloom did as it was told, the Energy Ball gaining more memento in Piplup's Whirlpool. It was like it was a move from a contest. It took out even more floating stones.

Paul sneered, "Give up, Lawrence! We got this covered."

There was a laugh, gaining everyone's attention.

"Silly boy. I'm nothing like him." That's when Yoni activated a hologram. Everyone gasped. Yoni added, "I'm nothing like my cousin."

"Cousin?!"

Yoni confirmed, "My name is Yoni. And after borrowing some of his plans, I was able to make my own airship. I plan to do more than him. After collecting what he failed to keep, I plan to collect all of the Legendaries and Mythicals in the world!"

Ranee stammered, "T - that's insane!"

Yoni shrugged, "Can't reason with crazy." That's when she noticed that Articuno had flown off. She snarled, "Grr... well that's just fine. I could always go after the king, queen, and rook now."

The hologram stopped and the airship left. Dawn sighed sadly.

She said, "That isn't good..."

Kenny wondered, "I wonder if it went off to warn or find Lugia."

Todd blinked, "But it seemed like it didn't know where Lugia was either."

Zoey pointed out, "That and from what Yoni said, it sounded like she was going after Silver and his mom."

Barry stated, "Oh man, I'm so going to fine her the next time we battle her!"

Bianca teased, "Yeah, ahuh. Sure you will."

To that, Barry shot her a look. Paul walked over to the altar with Ranee. She had found Articuno's treasure. She took it and it shone brightly in front of her and her friends. She gasped, it was beautiful. Everyone returned their Pokemon (except Piplup) and called it in. Looker advised them to go to Shamouti too.

...

Back near Ogi Island, the group had divided up to find Lugia, Silver, and Silver's Mom. Brandon had gone with Luka, blushing a bit at her. Brock went with Pike Queen Lucy. Ash had gone to Misty. Misty looked at Ash, very furious. He seemed to be ignoring her ever since they've been on this mission. She pulled on his ear, like she would with Brock.

She huffed, "Would you stop ignoring me already?!"

Ash blinked out of confusion, "Was I ignoring you...?"

Misty was furious, "Well, obviously! I keep trying to ask you if you are dating anyone and you keep changing the subject! Are you going to tell me who you are dating already?!"

Ash looked at her, point blank. He told her, as if it was obvious, "I thought I was dating you?"

Misty turned beat red upon hearing that. Ash wasn't pulling her leg, was he? When she saw his serious face she knew that he wasn't lying.

Misty stammered, "W - what...?"

Misty didn't know what blew her out of the water. The fact that Ash wanted to be her boyfriend or to the fact he actually figured out his feelings.

Ash took her hands and looked into her eyes. He stated, "Everything is so crazy right now, and I have no idea what my future holds, but it would be so cool if you were in it, so um... do you want to be my girlfriend...?"

That's when Misty kissed his cheek, smiling.

She teased, "Does that answer your question?"

Ash smiled wide as he took Misty's hand. Misty laced their fingers, keeping Ash close. Ash, Pikachu, and Misty kept looking around for the Lugia family. That's when they heard a shriek. They both looked up, seeing Articuno.

Ash breathed, "Articuno...?"

"Pika!" Pikachu said.

To that, the Ice/Flying type shrieked.

Misty stated, "You did know where Lugia was!"

Articuno shrieked. Before anything else could happen, a water tornado appeared. Ash and Misty gasped as Lugia emerged. With him was another Lugia and a small baby Lugia. Silver.

Ash breathed, "Lugia! Silver!"

"Pika pika!" Pikachu said.

Misty added, "We found them!"

Quickly, the Water type gym leader brought out her Pokenav.

Lugia asked, "What are you doing here, Chosen One?"

Ash answered, "We've come to warn you. Lawrence's cousin, Yoni, is coming here to collect you and your found family."

The other Lugia did a double take. She covered Silver with her wing. There was no way she was losing her baby. Not again.

Lugia turned to Pikachu and Articuno, "Is that true?"

To that, both Pokemon nodded. The other Lugia turned to Silver, worried. Before anything else could happen, the airship arrived.

Misty paled, "Oh no."

Ash put Misty behind him as the floating stones started to rain down. Ash turned to Pikachu.

Ash commanded, "Thunderbolt!"

"Pika...chu!" Pikachu said, shocking the floating stones.

Misty threw a pokeball. Out came her Gyarados.

She commanded, "Dragon Rage!"

Gyarados did as it was told and it destroyed more of the floating stones. Articuno was using its Ice Beam while both Lugia's were using their Hyper Beams. Silver was using its Hydro Pump attack. Some of the floating stones were destroyed but some of them were headed towards Pikachu.

Ash cried out, "Pikachu!"

ya this is what I was thinking too! This is def it.

it’s funny cause at first I thought the crown he picks up was going to be for Urithiru, and then I thought it was about Adolin with saying he will become king, his involvement with the “tower” game, and being in the spear/pike wall, but then this happened!

Might have connected some dots. Remember this Death Rattle?

He must pick it up, the fallen title! The tower, the crown, and the spear!

—Collected on Vevahach 1173, 8 seconds pre-death, by the Silent Gatherers. Subject was a prostitute of unknown background.

It might go like this:

Fallen title = replacing Jezrien as Herald

Tower and Crown = the cloak

Hunter’s Pokémon journey part 15.

When my Pokémon and I arrived at the battle frontier, we were amazed by the cool buildings. After catching a Smeargle in Artisan Cave, I used my watering can that looks like a Lotad to upset a wild Sudowoodo that resides at the battle frontier, who I was able to catch. After all that, I went to each and every building in the battle frontier to try out each one. At the battle factory, I used rental Pokémon to battle factory head Noland. At the battle tower, I faced against salon maiden Anabel. At the battle dome, I battled Tucker. At the battle pike, I battled pike queen Lucy. At the battle arena, I battled arena tycoon Greta. At the battle palace, I battled palace maven Spenser. At the battle pyramid, I battled pyramid king Brandon. I managed to beat them and we were all good sports. After I had rematches against the gym leaders, I went to birth island to battle and catch Deoxys. Then I went to Navel rock to battle and catch both Ho-Oh and Lugia. After that, I went to faraway island to battle and catch Mew. And lastly, I went to southern island to battle and catch Latias. After all that Pokémon catching and hatching lots of Pokémon eggs, Professor Birch allowed me to choose one of the Johto starters to be part of my emerald team, and I chose Chikorita. Now Sceptile has a grass type friend to play with. After more training and taking part in the battle tents, a couple more of my Pokémon evolved. Then we all returned to the battle frontier and we had rematch battles against Anabel, Lucy, Brandon, Greta, Spenser and Noland. And that’s my journey through the Hoenn region in Pokémon emerald. In addition, I even played Pokémon FireRed afterwards.

He jolted as another scream tore from the other man's throat following the crack of the whip. In all his years, Luca Budgen had never dreamed that this would be the hell that he'd be living. When he left home, all Luca had wanted was freedom. His father Malakai had been a king of rot and ruin, darkness bound to mortal form. There was nothing to make him stay in a castle as dark and dreary, so Luca had searched for a light.

His search had left him to his messiah.

Seth Rollins was a king of a fairly well-sized kingdom that had been warring with Luca's father due to religious beliefs. Seth followed a greater good as he called it, looking down on the old gods the Budgen kingdom still believed in. In the beginning, Seth had been a kind king. He was benevolent and led his people with a gentle and loving hand. Or so it had seemed from the way those loyal to him spoke, especially the young Welshman named Adrien Pike.

Adrien was a former fisherman who had fallen for King Rollins just as deeply as Luca had. He was a charmer who showered Luca with attention and praise, the same as Seth had first done when recruiting Luca into the fold. However, with Adrien it had always seemed more sincere. Even after Seth began rounding those who did not believe in his greater good up, even after Luca had began to feel as if all Seth had wanted was to possess Luca, not love him, Adrien had never treated Luca any differently.

It was why he had found solace in Adrien's chambers and why exactly Adrien was in this position now.

That morning Seth had come to gather Adrien for morning devotations, the same as he would have gathered Luca after that. Instead, he found the two men in each others loving embraces after a night together in Adrien's room. It was not that the fact that the two were in love that had angered their messiah. It was the fact that they had found love without 𝒉𝒊𝒎. In his rage, Seth had ordered Adrien to be restrained by Seth's right hand, Brandon Moxley, and dragged down to the dungeons. All the while, Luca had begged Seth for mercy. Instead, Seth had ordered Brandon to tie Adrien's hands above his head to a beam for his lashings. Every time the whip connected to Adrien's back, Luca let out a soft cry. How could his messiah be treating a man so loyal, so caring with such disdain?

"Seth...Seth please..."

Seth wrapped an arm around Luca's waist, pressing a kiss against Luca's neck, "Do you see this, boy? Do you see what is happening because of you?"

Luca sobbed, "Seth...Adrien has-"

"Do you?" hissed Seth, the kiss turning into a harsh nip.

"Yes sir!" Luca let out another cry as the crack sounded in the empty dungeon, "Yes sir. It's...it's my fault. It should be me..."

Seth sneered, cupping Luca's chin and forcing him to look in Seth's eyes, "You will learn to respect me or it will be the gallows next."

With a nod, Brandon untied Adrien and led him to one of the cells. He tossed the Welshman in, before turning to Seth, "Would you like me to clean Pike up?"

"Let the boy do it," Seth shook his head as he turned on his heels, shoving Luca forward before leading Brandon back up the stairs leading to the main part of the castle.

Luca grabbed a bucket of water, knowing that it might have been filthy, the rag not any better. He knew he would be expected to lock the cell door, to watch as Adrien laid on the ground of the filthy cell. All he could do was clean the blood from the man he loved's back, to make him comfortable.

All he could do was learn to protect Adrien from Seth's grasp.

morgan’s eyes remained fixed on the fire as brandon spoke, the flickering flames casting shifting shadows across his face. he listened, unmoving, until the northern lord’s words fell away into the quiet hum of the hall. his fingers, still wrapped around the stem of his goblet, twitched slightly, the only betrayal of the thoughts churning beneath his composed exterior.

his voice, though quieter than the karstark’s, carried the steady cadence of the stormlands. “ye speak of the stormlands like ye know them well. like ye’ve walked our hills and heard the rain poundin’ against stone. it’s rare for a man outside our borders to see it so clear.” he paused, the faintest crease forming on his brow. “where does that come from, brandon? experience, or just a sharp eye for the lay of the land?”

the firelight caught the lines of morgan’s face as he leaned back slightly, the movement slow and thoughtful. “yer words, they’re not wrong. the pride of my folk, it’s a strength. aye, it holds us together. but it can turn brittle under strain. these taxes—this unrest—they’re like embers, aye? it’ll only take one gust to set the whole forest ablaze.”

he traced a finger along the rim of his goblet, his tone softening but not losing its edge. “a statement, ye said. bold enough to be felt but not so bold as to bring ruin. that’s a fine line to tread, and it’s easy to stumble. we’ve no desire to see heads on pikes, not ours, nor anyone’s, but the weight keeps buildin’.” he hesitated, the weight of his words clear in the way his shoulders set. “if the stormlands stand together, we might weather the gale. but fractured? we’ll be swept away.”

morgan tilted his head slightly, his expression thoughtful, almost searching. “if ye were still wearin’ the pin, how would ye advise me? or is yer advice now the same as it would’ve been then?” his gaze lingered on brandon’s, quiet but steady. “because ye speak like a man who’s seen what comes of makin’ the wrong move.”

the lord's words hung in the fire-warmed air, tempered steel wrapped in quiet intrigue. his gaze shifted back to brandon, sharp with curiosity. “so what of you, karstark? hand o’ the king no longer. did ye jump, or were ye pushed? if it’s treachery ye smell, what made ye step away? i’d wager the truth of that tale might hold lessons for me yet.”

brandon karstark’s grey eyes narrowed as he listened, the weight of morgan wylde’s words settling over him like a fresh layer of snow on unforgiving ground. the stormlander’s voice, though steady, carried the undercurrent of unease, and brandon could feel the tension coiling tighter between them. for a moment, he let the silence stretch, his broad fingers drumming once against the rough wood of the table. finally, he leaned forward, his shadow long and looming in the flickering firelight. his voice, thick with his northern accent, came low and deliberate.

“ye’ve the right of it, wylde. walkin’ a blade’s edge, aye, and the steel cuts deep if ye lean too far either way. but here’s the truth of it—the north, the stormlands, even the vale—we’re all walkin’ the same edge. and it’s sharpened by valyrian hands.”

his gaze hardened, his tone steady but edged with the bluntness of a man who had seen too much. “pride runs deep in the stormlands, ye say. good. pride’s what keeps a man upright when the winds come howlin’. but pride alone won’t shift nothing. it’s action that matters now, though not the sort to bring the king’s wrath down on yer heads. nae, what’s needed’s a statement—one bold enough to remind those silver-haired bastards the stormlands won’t be cowed. but careful, mind. too bold, and it’ll be yer necks swingin’ from their bloody gallows.”

he sat back slightly, the firelight catching the sharp lines of his face, making him look more wolf than man. “ye say yer folk feel forgotten. less. that’s the wound, aye, and wounds fester if left untended. but ye don’t heal it by beggin’ for scraps from a valyrian table. stormlanders’ve always stood tall, same as northerners. remind them o’ that. remind them who they are, who they’ve always been—lords of their own fate, not lackeys to some foreign crown.” he paused, his expression darkening as he mulled over his next words. "do something, something that'll hurt 'em where it counts."

“if i were still hand, i’d advise the king to tread careful. but i’m not. what i am is a man who knows treachery when he smells it, and i’ll tell ye this—jaehaerys and his ilk aren’t playin’ fair. they never have, and they never will. so if ye mean to act, do it together. do it with purpose. and for the gods’ sake, do it with caution. the stormlands can’t afford to bleed for nothin’, and neither can the north.” he lifted his goblet at last, though he still didn’t drink. instead, he offered a sharp, humourless grin. “walk the edge, wylde, but don’t lose yer balance man. yer'll be dead."
